Lugano, Switzerland, November 2008 - Datamars, a leading global supplier of high performance RFID-based solutions today announced that it has reached a settlement with Avid Identification Systems, Inc. (AVID) regarding AVID's allegations of patent infringement and Datamars' subsequent antitrust allegations against AVID. The agreement represents a settlement ending legal disputes between the two companies. The disputes concerned the Animal Identification part of Datamars' business in the US. The companies agreed to keep the details of the settlement confidential.
